Wedding Video Editing: Skills, Software and Jobs in Delhi (2026)

Lengths differ from studio to studio; the client contract decides them. What stays the same is the skill: picking the best moments from hours of footage and keeping the emotion real.

• Multicam editing. Two or three cameras record the same ritual. You sync them and switch angles like a live director.
• Sound cleanup. Mantras, vows and speeches must be clear over crowd noise and band music. Our Adobe Audition noise reduction guide shows the basics.
• Colour correction. Cameras record colour differently. Wedding venues also mix daylight with warm stage lights. The film must look like one day, not three.
• Music editing. Cutting to the beat and fading songs cleanly. Use only music the studio has the right to use.
• Titles and graphics. Name cards, dates and simple motion titles. Graphics skills help here; wedding studios often need invites too, see graphic design for wedding invitations.
• File management. Days of footage from many cards. Clear folders and backups are part of the job.

   Import all angles

   Bring in the clips from every camera that recorded the same ritual.

   Create the multicam sequence

   Select the clips in the Project panel and choose Clip > Create Multi-Camera Source Sequence.

   Pick a sync method

   Adobe lists In and Out points, Timecode, Audio and Clip Marker. Audio sync works well when every camera recorded the same sound.

   Cut between angles

   Play the sequence and switch cameras as the moment moves, then fine-tune each cut.

Wedding-only job posts are fewer than general editing posts. Much wedding work is seasonal or freelance. Many editors start at a studio, learn the rhythm of the season and then take freelance projects. For the full role, read what does a video editor do.

Editors use Premiere's Enhance Speech to clean vows and speeches, auto captions for social cuts and Auto Reframe to turn a wide film into vertical Reels. Adobe's AI Assistant, in public beta in Premiere since June 2026, can carry out several editing steps from one request^[4].
